Why It’s Important To Create A Budget Sheet When Designing a Room In the Bay Area

In today’s vlog post, Bay Area Interior Designer, Kanika, talks about the importance of creating a budget sheet when designing a room. One of the main reasons to create a budget sheet is to better source a shopping list for your space, which will help you decide on whether you want to go with mid-range finishes or high end finishes for your home interior design

 

One way to go about this would be to create an Excel sheet on Google Doc while being realistic with the numbers that you want to spend on each item in the interior space. For example, if we’re designing a living room interior, we would need a sofa, a couple of accent chairs, a rug, a coffee table – the list goes on… and once we have created a budget sheet, we then have a better understanding of how much it will cost to create a room and budget accordingly.
