In each renovation project our team embarks on, we focus on a key design aspect that pulls the entire home together. This can range from a consistent color palette to a particular material. For this home remodel project, our defining component was the concept of open space and natural light.
We transformed the kitchen and dining area by removing walls from all adjoining rooms, which created an expansive, open layout. The checkerboard floor tiles, coupled with neutral colors and wooden elements, established a timeless design. The black, white, and gold Italian-made backsplash added a touch of elegance and became a focal point in the kitchen. A large window was introduced, overlooking the garden, flooding the area with natural light and providing a beautiful view of the outdoor space. The new cabinets provided ample storage and functionality, making the space a delightful cooking area perfect for entertaining.
In the dining area, we repurposed Terracotta floors from the old kitchen, and the outdated built-in was replaced with a custom-made solid oak built-in, complete with stylish hardware to match the kitchen cabinet.
Throughout the home, we introduced a fresh color scheme in all interior spaces, complementing the overall updates. The exterior was also revitalized with a new front door, outdoor light fixtures, deck upgrades, and a refreshed color scheme.
Our team worked closely with the homeowners to ensure our design vision matched their desires and expectations. This remodel truly brought the home’s interior and exterior together, creating a seamless, welcoming space filled with light and a timeless design.
